Built around messages of hope and inclusivity, the Free To product story bears meaningful altruistic values, inside and out. As part of this vision, the production process was equally considered and thoughtful. As part of a commitment to sustainability, AZ Factory partnered with European textile company PYRATEX® on the development of a unique fleece fabric, made from fully traceable organic cotton and a biodegradable, carbon-neutral seaweed-blend. Beyond their environmental impact, the fabrics used also ensure breathability, insulation and protection, for a soothing and comforting feel when worn, like the hug we’ve all been craving throughout these unprecedented times. Indeed, the high levels of antioxidants contained in the proprietary fabric protect against the free radicals present in our everyday lives and help to activate skin cell regeneration, which in turn reduces inflammation, irritation and even risk of disease.

The product story is built around comfortable and comforting pieces in oversized, laidback fits, with the intricacy of the details elevating the collection to fashion-forward couture-inspired leisurewear.

Though soft and stretchy, key pieces also feature bright and bold satin-like Duchesse polyester lettering and detailing, which feels simultaneously retro and modern, and though constructed like activewear, the Seacell fabric provides a silky, luxurious feeling that bridges the gap between Free To and traditional sportswear.Unexpected, subtle details such as raw-edged hems, embossed logos and visible stitching provide each piece with a structure reminiscent of luxury craftmanship, reinforcing the notion that AZ Factory is intended for function above all, though without ever compromising on fashion. The simple lines and fabrics used are also contrasted with statement touches to make all the difference, like oversized gold-tone buttons and exposed zippers. A part of the collection, printed silk scarves are adorned with exclusive Alber Elbaz illustrations, doodles and sketches, all reminiscent of his signature aesthetic. Soft and lightweight enough to be worn around the neck, in the hair or on a bag handle, the scarves are high quality enough to allow for creative styling options, such as vacation-ready tops.
